Alcan, the world’s second largest producer of primary aluminum, was spending over $5 million in North American telecommunications expenses alone. Realizing the spend was growing continually and that there were services being underutilized and unaccounted for, Alcan decided they needed to seek a global telecom expense management solution. Prior to engaging Quickcomm, Alcan had no centralized process for managing their telecom billing and contracts, limited visibility and control and the inability to process and analyze billing efficiently.
