NEW YORK, NY – April 27, 2010 – Quickcomm Software Solutions, a leading provider of telecom expense management solutions for large multinational corporations, today announced it has named Simon Meighan as Head of Sales for the EMEA region. Both Mr. Evans and Mr. Meighan work from the company’s London office.
Along with Mr. Evans, Mr. Meighan will be responsible for growing Quickcomm’s market share in Europe. He brings more than 20 years of sales and business development experience in developing key accounts, indirect channels and OEM relationships across EMEA.
Prior to joining Quickcomm, Mr. Meighan specialized in sales and business development at The EMS Group where he grew and managed a sales team of 13 across Europe. Prior to The EMS Group, Mr. Meighan held roles at Compuserve Data Technologies, Central Point Software and Symantec. In 2007, while with The EMS Group, he orchestrated a $20 million sale to the consumer arm of a large UK-based telecommunications operator.

Underscoring the importance of the European market, Quickcomm recently joined the EVUA, an independent, non-profit, global ICT network user group for multinational companies. It was formed in 1992 and has evolved into an effective ICT industry platform for global users and global suppliers. EVUA’s agenda is dynamic and ranges from the impact of new technologies such as mobility and convergence up to best in class management for total cost of ownership (TCO), outsourcing and ICT infrastructure governance. The EVUA has excellent working relations with leading ICT network service and technology providers. The EVUA industry network includes independent industry partners, working links with regulatory organisations and links with other user groups
Quickcomm will attend the Mobilising the Enterprise 2010 Conference held by EVUA in Paris, France in June at the Marriot Hotel.
