Global Software and Services Provider Discussed in the Report and Recognized for Global Capabilities
New York, November 6, 2006 – Quickcomm Software Solutions, a leading global provider of telecommunications expense management (TEM) software and services, announced today its rating by top technology research authority Gartner, Inc. in a recently published report titled “Marketscope: Telecom Expense Management 2006*.” Quickcomm believes this rating clearly demonstrates Quickcomm’s momentum and leadership in the hyper-competitive TEM market.
The annual report provides a detailed overview of the telecommunications expense management landscape and thorough analysis of the market’s key players and vendors. The report also highlights the growing strength of the TEM market, estimating the market will generate just over $400 million in revenue in 2006. Additionally, the report forecasts the market to grow at a CAGR of 40 percent to $1.5 billion in 2010.
The criteria by which Quickcomm was evaluated were based on business model, customer experience, geographic strategy, innovation, sales execution, product and overall viability.
Offered as either an in-house or hosted enterprise application that reconciles telecom invoices with inventory and human resource records, Quickcomm’s software analyzes each line item, from wireless to voice to data services. Quickcomm identifies discrepancies in telecoms bills and redundant or surplus services, saving clients an average of 10 percent to 20 percent off their telecom bills annually. A key end-result is accuracy, global visibility and streamlined operations.
Quickcomm has recently completed a deal to provide a hosted solution for one of the world’s largest logistics companies.
“We believe to be recognized by Gartner with a positive rating is a testament of our dedication to the market,” says Mark Evans, co-founder and CEO of Quickcomm. “Our recent work with one of the world’s leading logistics companies adds to our continued momentum in hosted solutions for simplifying complex TEM processes.”
